Last night, America hit a new low, with a handful of its citizens openly (and enthusiastically) encouraging the death of fellow Americans without health care on national television.  Now, I guess it isn’t surprising that these insane assholes feel this way, but to me, it’s fucking crazy that they can be this open about such an extreme opinion and nobody says shit to them.  Seriously, not a single “Boo!”  I’m surprised the crowd didn’t do the fuckin’ wave.

Here’s the thing, GOP:  Okay, I understand that you’re capitalist zombies who get big boners off the idea of “every-man-for-himself” economics, and therefore you really, really hate poor people taking your tax dollars to save their stupid lives.  I admit, it’s frustrating when lazy bottomfeeders and their poor decisions prevent you from being able to buy your jet-ski.   As Ron Paul said, ”That’s what freedom is all about.  Taking your own risks.”  Now, considering this was the only concept you cheered louder for than an uninsured life being cut short, I’ll assume you agree…  Freedom = Taking your own risks.

Well, if you guys are so upset about money being taken from your pockets to save other people’s lives, and you believe that America is all about “taking your own risks,” then may I ask…. WHY THE FUCK ARE WE IN IRAQ/AFGHANISTAN?

The Wars have cost us over $3 trillion.  Yes, TRILLION.  In case you’re not grasping how much money that is, here’s an unabridged version of the figure: $3,000,000,000,000.00

I don’t know the exact amount of money it would cost to give free health care to every America, but I can guarantee you it’s way less than $3 trillion.  I know CAT scan machines are expensive, but so are Tomahawk cruise missiles.

Now why isn’t the GOP complaining about making this budget cut?  Why aren’t Americans told to “take their own risks” with terrorism?  Why did we just spend an entire Sunday afternoon mourning 3,000 lives that died in an isolated attack on a skyscraper, and didn’t just say, “Well, those fuckers shouldn’t have taken the risk of working in the World Trade Center.  That’s freedom!”? Why are we pinching pennies when it comes to providing health care for people at home, but writing blank checks to bomb countries that pose a “risk” on our “security”?

I don’t know about the rest of the country, but I feel that things like CANCER and CAR ACCIDENTS are much more of a risk to my “security” than AL-QUEDA and CAR BOMBS.

I agree with the GOP mentality to an extent… if you get killed by a terrorist, that’s because you took your own risk of living in the most greedy, selfish, indulgent, and hated country on the planet.  That’s what Freedom’s all about.  But PLEASE… PLEASE… just let me see a fucking doctor.

On another note, the government easily found $800 billion to bail out Wall Street in 2008 after they “took their own risks,” and the GOP didn’t complain (neither did the Liberals).   Meanwhile, it’s estimated that it would only take $50 billion to END POVERTY IN AMERICA, but we continually say, “Fuck those hobos. It’s their fault…”

Hmmm… I thought “Freedom” didn’t show favoritism?
