So I was going to do a post about the original “One Sweet Day” video and how cheap it was that the music video is just a MAKING OF for the song. Like, really? The biggest single of 1996 had to cut corners budget-wise and kill two birds with one stone… song & video in same day???? How many millions did you make off that song and you’re promoting it with some home-footage of B2M/MC in the studio chillin? Really? That’s fucking Tay Zonday status right there.
But Youtube won’t let peeps embed that vid… no worries. Found one even better. Nick Pitera’s version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What blows my mind even more than his falsetto voice…. WHY THE FUCK IS HE WEARING TWO DIFFERENT OUTFITS FOR EACH VOICE? Does doing one voice take too much out of him? Can he only do one voice per day? If so, shitty work ethic, Nick.
Or… are you such an asshole, Nicholas, that you’d change clothes between takes? Why? What’s the point? We can tell it’s the same dude… you split screen yourself. Is two outfits really necessary????
EDIT: Just rewatched this vid. Forgot that Nick says “Don’t judge me too hard, guys” in the beginning. My bad, Nick. I didn’t mean to judge you for being a fucking retard who changes clothes everytime you do a take of the most sucessful Boyz II Men x Mariah Carey collabo to date.
