A few months ago, I read the screenwriting book Save The Cat by Blake Snyder, which was recommended to me by some other writers. It was a really helpful book with alot of good points.

Blake Snyder mostly wrote kids movies, selling his Blank Check script for a million, but I thought that was fine. A script is a script.

Until today, when I learned that Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot!, one of the movies Snyder wrote and frequently referred to in Save the Cat, had been deemed one of the worst films & screenplays of all time.

I checked out the trailer, and it’s truly awful. I guess I need to check an author’s credentials more often.
